Watercolor Painting
Through simple techniques, anyone can learn the art of
watercolor. This class will guide you through the basics such as
materials used and techniques to more advanced watercolor effects.
Participants must bring own supplies. Supplies can be found at
Michaels, Ogden Blue or online art stores such as dickblick.com
Supply list:
watercolor brushes-bring what ever sizes that fit your needs.
Suggested brushes to begin with:
No. 12 round sable, ox-hair or mixed hair
No. 8 round synthetic

Beginning
Computer Fundamentals
Become a confident, self-sufficient PC user! This class is designed for people who know how to use a mouse and keyboard but are new to computers or not confident in
their skills. Learn what you really need to manage a computer system,
reduce your dependence on others, avoid and solve problems and
communicate effectively. Topics include: hardware, software, operating
systems, Internet, E-mail, security and file management. This class or equivalent skills is a prerequisite for all other computer classes. |

Description |
If you're not afraid to get your hands and clothes messy, come
learn the basics of handbuilding and wheel throwing. Learn how to
build dishes or sculptures with slabs of clay and to throw bowls,
vases, and mugs on the wheel. Participants must bring own basic
ceramic tool kit or buy one from me for ten dollars.

Description |
A beginner course for those interested in digital photography.
Covering composition of a photo including rule of thirds, balance,
black and white vs. color and so on. Photography basics such as
aperture, exposure, ISO, light settings and in depth detail on each
subject will be taught, Photographing people and landscapes,
photography equipment with emphasis on lenses, lighting, reflectors and
backgrounds will be included. We will also have a few photo shoots in
the class with a hairstylist and makeup artist as well as a model. A
digital camera is needed for the class and a D-SLR camera is
recommended for the best experience. |

Description |
A class for those just beginning Yoga or trying it for the first time.
We will cover basic yoga poses, background on the poses and background
of the art and science of yoga. Yoga sessions in Hatha Yoga as well as
Vinyasa will be the main portion of the class. You may move at your own
pace through the class while going through the different sessions. We
will go through stretches, AM and PM yoga and relaxation and renewal
sessions. People should make sure they are ok to be performing Yoga
poses. |

broaden and improve writing skills and, more importantly, to cultivate
an atmosphere that encourages new ideas and feedback. All types of
writers are encouraged because the workshop setting allows for any
skill level or subject. Peer reviewing and commenting will be key to
the course because hearing what others see in your writing is the only
way to improve, whether that writing is fiction, nonfiction, critical
